Total 29,896 people have obtained Nepali citizenship certificate from Morang district in a year. It includes distribution of 14,255 citizenship certificates from District Administration Office, 7,260 from Area Police Office Urlabari and 4,466 from Area Police Office Rangeli, the district administration office shared this at a press conference on Sunday. In the last fiscal year, total 14,049 people were distributed with citizenship certificates, shared Assistant Chief District Officer Umesh Pandey. Marital naturalized citizenship cards were provided to 1,111 applicants across the district. At the press conference, it was shared that the district collected total revenue amounting over Rs 53.42 million from passport, Rs 1.62 million from company registration, Rs 25,000 from examination fee, Rs 196,475 from arms licensing, Rs 4.54 million from administrative penalty and confiscation and Rs 38.6 million from arrears.
