Kathmandu, Nov 24,, Inspector General of Nepal Police Sarbendra Khanal has returned home today after participating in the 87th General Assembly of INTERPOL held in the United Arab Emirates. The event was held from November 18 to 21.
Interstate crimes, girl trafficking, trafficking of illegal weapons, and control measures were the issues featuring in the Assembly. Similarly, annual reports of the INTERPOL were passed.
The General Assembly elected new working committee. The Police Headquarters informed that the Assembly made resolution on various pressing issues as terrorism, investment on terrorism, cyber crime and human trafficking.
