Kathmandu, Dec 18,, The Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) has expressed its sorrow over the demise of former Prime Minister Dr Tulsi Giri.
Giri passed away today morning at his residence at Budhanilakantha in Kathmandu. He was 93.
Issuing a press statement, RPP, RPP (Democratic) and Unified RPP (Nationalist) here today, these political parties mentioned that Dr Giri significantly contributed to the Nepal’s political evolution.
RPP President Kamal Thapa, in the press statement, said that he was shocked and saddened by the news of Giri’s demise. “He lived by the principles such as integrity, clear ideologies and ideals. Dr Giri’s philosophical values were exemplary in the contemporary Nepali political scenario,” Thapa said.
Similarly, Unified RPP (Nationalist) President Dr Prakash Chandra Lohani prayed for the eternal peace to the departed soul and extended condolences to the bereaved families of Giri.
Likewise, RPP (Democratic) General-Secretary Rajaram Shrestha expressed his sadness over the loss of an honest nationalist leader.
