Surkhet, Jan 7,, Two persons have been arrested in possession of over six kilograms of hashish from Surkhet. Production and sale of hashish is banned in Nepal. A team from the Area Police Office, Chhinchu acting on a tip-off on Sunday raided the house of Bir Bahadur Buda, one of the arrestees, at Madanichaur along Jajarkot-Chhinchu road, and confiscated 6.3 kilograms of hashish, said Deputy Superintendent of Police Pradip Bahadur Chhetri. Another arrestee is Hari Bahadur Khadka of Madanechaur in Bheriganga Municipality-2. Investigations were underway, said Chhetri.
