National women cricket team returns home

Kathmandu, Jan 20  ,,  National women cricket team today returned home from participating in the Women’s T20 Smash, 2019 in Thailand.
Nepal’s cricket journey this time remained fruitful despite being beaten by host Thailand in the final on January 19. It conceded a 70-run defeat to Thailand. Nepal finished Group ‘A’ winner before sailing to the final, following its four consecutive wins in the tournament. In its first match, Nepal defeated China by 10 wickets. Likewise, it thrashed Malaysia and the United Arab Emirates by six wickets each in the second and third. In the fourth, it registered a nine-wicket win over host Thailand.
