Government to make media houses systematic: CM Shahi

Surkhet, March 5 ,,  Chief Minister of Karnali State, Mahendra Bahadur Shahi, has said that the government would make media systematic gradually.
During the meeting with five-member mission team of Federation of Nepali Journalists led by General-Secretary Ramesh Bista, this morning, Chief Minister Shahi said, “It is necessary to make government, community and private media systematic.”
Saying the government has not tried to close community and private media, he pointed out the need that the government media should move ahead in order to make development by leading all media houses.
He further said that a border discussion was necessary on the issue of media houses.
Similarly, FNJ General Secretary Bista stressed that media houses should be operated with editorial freedom.
