Kanchanpur, April 7 ,, It has been three months that there are no senior officials in the Far West University. As the Chancellor of the University wrote letters to Vice-Chancellor Professor Bhushan Shrestha and Registrar Professor Dr Dwijraj Bhatta not to carry out their duties, they stopped performing. Through the letter on January 10, they were asked not to discharge duties because they had acted against the value of the post and University prestige.
University Spokesperson and Information Chief Govinda Ballav Pant informed that the University was desperately waiting for the high level officials to run the University activities smoothly. Vice-Chancellor Shrestha and Registrar Bhatta were accused of not staying in the central office of Far West University in Mahendranagar but in Kathmandu, showing dishonesty, and wasting University budget randomly as in the name of allowance and training. In this connection, a probe team arrived here on February 3 and submitted the investigation report after a week on the activities of the Vice-Chancellor and Registrar.
