Beijing, April 29  ,, President Bidya Devi Bhandari and a delegation led by Deputy Chief of ruling Liberal Democratic Party of Japan Toshihiro Nikai had a meeting this morning.
On the occasion, President Bhandari said Japan has been a close and good friend of Nepal and also is the largest contributor to the development projects of Nepal.
She also lauded Japanese government for its quality performance.
Deputy Chief Toshihiro commented that the bilateral relation between Nepal and Japan is cordial and appreciated Nepal’s efforts for women empowerment.
It is self evident from women being the President and Japan would also learn this from Nepal, he noted.
Also present on the occasion were Foreign Minister Pradeep Kumar Gyawali, State-3 Chief Minister Dormani Poudel, Nepali ambassador to China Leelamani Poudyal, federal parliament members and other high-placed government officials.
