NEW DELHI, Aug. 15 , A senior leader of India’s Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), or the common man’s party, Wednesday resigned from the party citing personal reasons.
“Every journey has an end. My association with AAP which was beautiful/revolutionary has also an end. I have resigned from the PARTY/requested PAC to accept the same. It is purely from a very, very personal reason. Thanks to party/all of them who supported me Throughout. Thanks,” Ashutosh in his statement posted on twitter said.
Ashutosh was among the founding members of AAP and has served as party’s spokesman for a long time.
Prior to joining AAP which was touted as India’s anti-corruption party, Ashutosh had a long career as a television journalist. Enditem
