‘State should support bright stars’

Kathmandu, Aug. 24 ,,   Former Chairman of Council of Ministers Khilraj Regmi has asked the state to support the talent figures who are working for the nation’s fame in the global stage.
The bright personalities should get supports from the state’s side for their efforts made to spread the country’s name globally. Regmi was speaking at a programme organized on Thursday for recording the world’s longest speech of Anantaram KC of Shivapuri Rural Municipality-1 in Nuwakot.
During the event, lawmaker of Communist Party of Nepal and former minister Hit Bahadur Tamang said that it was the golden opportunity to establish the capacity and talents of KC in the world.
On the occasion, lawmaker Narayan Prasad Khatiwada, NC leaders Dr Prakash Sharan Mahat and Arjun Narsingh KC expressed their best wishes for the success of Anantaram in his upcoming feat for the world record.
KC has travelled all 77 districts of Nepal and six states of India on foot and is also a spiritual practitioner. Likewise, he has lived without water for 21 days and has meditated for six months with complete silent.
