Bhaktapur, Sept 14,, Chairman of ruling Communist Party of Nepal (CPN), Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’, has said that the transformation of the nation was possible only through communist party led government.
Speaking in a concluding programme of a workshop organized by the Madan Bhandari Asian School at Kharipati in the district Friday, Chairman Dahal, also the former Prime Minister, noted that the national development with social transformation was possible under the communist leadership.
The communist school is the first of its kind established formally in Nepal organized 21-day sessions on ‘past and present of world communists.’
He mentioned that a decade long people’s war, restoration of peace, unification between the then CPN (UML) and CPN (Maoist Centre) and the formation of the incumbent government with a support of two thirds majority were notable achievements in Nepal’s communist movement.
The Chairman stressed the social and economic transformation in the country, reasoning the political agendas were already settled.
As many as 49 students from 14 countries had attended in the the first session of the school.
