Kathmandu, Sept 14 ,, The Supreme Court has ordered the government to release Spokesperson of Netra Bikram Chand-led Nepal Communist Party, Khadga Bahadur Bishwokarma. Bishwokarma was arrested on the charge of extortion.
A division bench of judges Anil Kumar Sinha and Prakashman Singh Raut on Friday ordered to release Bishwokarma in the presence of chief registrar of the SC, Rajan Prasad Bhattarai, saying Bishwokarma was kept illegally in custody.
This is the fourth time the SC issued such order.
