Kathmandu, Sept 22 ,, Communist Party of Nepal (CPN) leader and former Prime Minister Jhalanath Khanal said the country could in no way tolerate poverty, illiteracy and unemployment.
At an interaction organized by the Martyr Ajablal Memorial Foundation here today, leader Khanal stressed on the efforts to lead the nation to pathway to prosperity in realizing dream of the Martyrs. He added that the incumbent government should cash in on an opportunity to lead the country to prosperity.
Also speaking on the occasion, CPN Province-2 committee chair Prabhu Sah called for including the names of people who obtained martyrdom during the Maoist insurgency era in the national martyrs’ list.
Ajablal Yadav had sacrificed his life in course of the people’s war on 22 March 2002. —
