Bejhad, March 10 ,, The first-ever convention of the Nepal Trade Union Congress Rampur municipality concluded here on Saturday, electing Om Prakash Basyal the President.
The convention elected nine-member municipality committee, including Ananda Pant (open vice-president), Shanti Adhikari (women vice-president), Bikram Ghimire (secretary), Madhav Wagle (joint secretary), Parbati Pariyar (treasurer) and Tirtha Bhandari, Manju Bhatta and Narayan Prasad Sigdel as members.
On the occasion, Nepali Congress district working committee vice-president Devraj Dhakal urged the new leadership to work keeping in mind the welfare of all workers. —
