Kathmandu, Oct 14 ,, The Government has decided to form a Director Committee to be coordinated by Minister for Education and Science and Technology to furnish recommendations aimed at restructuring the educational human resources and education system in the country.
The meeting of the Council of Ministers held here today has decided to take decisions to this effect, according to the Minister for Foreign Affairs, Pradeep Kumar Gyawali.
The Committee is mandated to submit a report with suggestions within six months. The government would make tentative estimation of the need for the human resources in the medical filed incorporating suggestions in its 15th Five-Year Plan.
Similarly, the meeting has decided to relocate the National Library that is currently at the Harihar Bhawan in Lalitpur to the old office of the Exam Controller Office at Jamal. A modern library would be built in the place of that old building, the meeting decided.
Likewise, the government has decided not to raise the fees for the medical studies for this year. The fees would be in line with the decisions made by the taskforce made in the past, shared Minister Gyawali.
Furthermore, A Nepal flag would be hoisted in Janakpur for the Janakpur-Jayanagar-Kurtha Railway that is in the last leg of the construction. Legal and other institutional mechanism would be put in place for the operation of this railway system.
The Cabinet has entrusted the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation with the responsibility to formulate the Bill relating to the aviation in the country.
Moreover, the meeting has also suggested the Public Service Commission not to launch any vacancies for the next two months in the light of lack of human resources structure in all Ministries.
On the occasion of ongoing Dashain festival, the government has extended its greetings to all the Nepali sisters and brothers living abroad and home, wishing them for the peace, health and prosperity.
