Kathmandu, Feb 8 ,, Nepal Communist Party (NCP)’s ailing leader and former Deputy Prime Minister Bharat Mohan Adhikari has been shifted to the HAMS Hospital from the Mediciti Hospital for further treatment of breathing problems.
According to party central member Surya Thapa, leader Adhikari on January 16 had been admitted to the Mediciti after he complained of respiratory problem. He was shifted to the Dhumbarahi-based HAMS with hopes of improvement in his condition.
No improvement was seen in his health during treatment at the Mediciti.
A medical squad comprising Dr Bhagawan Koirala, Dr Man Bahadur KC and Dr Arjun Karki, among others is involved in his treatment. The 82-year-old leader was diagnosed of problems in his heart and lung as well.
