Kathmandu, Dec 18,, The Legislation Management Committee under the National Assembly, the upper house of the federal parliament, has constituted four separate thematic sub-committees to make recommendations after studying the existing Acts.
A meeting of the committee on Monday formed the sub-committees which have been asked to submit their reports within three months, committee chairman Parshuram Meghi Gurung said.
These sub-committees are the sub-committee related to land administration under the coordination of MP Thagendra Prasad Puri, the sub-committee related to education under the coordination of MP Badri Prasad Pandey, the sub-committee on transport under the coordination of MP Brikhesh Chandra Lal, and the sub-committee related to consumer interest protection under the coordination of MP Sher Bahadur Kunwar.
Committee chair Gurung said that the reports would also be tabled in the parliament.
