A woman was found dead today at Boudha-based Samata Hospital. Bimala Tamang, 27, from Doramba of Ramechhap district who worked as a cleaner at the hospital was found dead. She was found hanging from the ceiling of the hospital building. Relatives of the dead, enraged at the incident, vandalised the hospital. Police are forced to intervene to take the situation under control, Metropolitan Police Circle Boudha’s Deputy Superintendent Narendra Chand said. It is said the hospital hired the woman as the cleaner two months ago. Police are waiting for the report of post-mortem examinations. Further investigations are underway.
