Kathmandu, Jan. 10,, The Metropolitan Crime Division of Nepal Police has arrested a person for allegedly amassing huge amount of money by promising around 20 youth to send in the lucrative destinations. Proprietor of Putalisadak-based Gates Consultancy Ganesh Dhakal, 34, of Palpa district was arrested on Wednesday for collecting Rs 15 million in cash from those youth, police confirmed.
Spokesperson of Division Narendra Prasad Upreti said that Dhakal was held based on a complaint filed by Avash Khanal of Suryabinayak in Bhaktapur. It is said that Dhakal had collected Rs 700,000 from Khanal by alluring him of sending to Canada. However, Dhakal was escaping the scene by giving a blank cheque of bank to Khanal after he claimed money. Uperti shared that further investigations have been initiated against Dhakal on charge of banking offence.
