Khotang, April 8 ,, More than 800 people were benefitted from free eye camp organised at District Hospital, Diktel. The Netra Jyoti Sangh, Khotang, organsied the free eye camp with technical support of Sagarmatha Eye Hospital and financial support of Diktel Rupakot Majhuwagadhi municipality from April 5.
A team comprising 14 health workers under leadership of Dr Avishekh Sahadev at Eye Hospital, Lahan, had carried out eye surgery of 95 people. Medicine and glasses were provided to the patients free of cost in the three-day camp. Mainly, senior citizens had received treatment service in the camp.
Earlier on April 2 and 3, the Sangh had organized the free eye surgery camp at Baksilabazaar of Kopilasgadhi where 514 people were benefitted. Of 514 people, 63 had undergone surgery. Similarly, the Sangh is also organising the free eye surgery camp at Halesi on April 9 and 10. (Photo available) —
