Kathmandu, Jan 8,, Takeoff flights at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) remained affected for around two hours today, following a technical problem in its communications system. According to its managing director Raj Kumar Chhetri, airport’s communication system (video high frequency ) encountered with a problem due to a short-circuit in its equipment, affecting the flights schedule. The problem was fixed by the TIA technical human resources and the flights have been regular since 11:00 am. However, there was no issue in both domestic and international arrival flights.—
