Khotang, March 24 ,, A person suffering kidney failure has appealed to everyone for financial assistances to his treatment. Chhabi Lal Magar, 42, of Temma of Diprung Chuichumma rural municipality-7 in Khotang district, is receiving treatment at Sumeru Hospital in Kathmandu for three months due to renal failure.
He has to undergo dialysis twice a week. His financial condition is so weak that he is not able afford the treatment. The only property he and his family have in their name is around two and a half ropanis of lands, which values little.
Magar is the only breadwinner in his five-member family. “None is mortal- all need to leave the mortal life. My small son and wife will be left high and dry without my support. Please save me at least for their future,” wailed and appealed Magar.
Currently, Magar is living at Kapan, Kathmandu, with his daughter and son-in-law. “The doctors involved in uncle’s treatment have said he needs kidney transplant. But we are finding it difficult to afford it. We are wondering he could manage money,” said Magar’s niece Nani Maiya.
Anyone wishing to donate can deposit money at the Everest Bank (Kathmandu branch) referring to the joint account of Nani Maiya Magar and Prem Magar at 00200501215476. (Photo available)
