RSS journalist honoured

Myagdi, Feb 24 ,,  Myagdi correspondent of Rastriya Samachar Samiti Santosh Gautam has been honoured with the KD year journalism prize 2075.
The prize carrying a purse of Rs. 11,111 was presented to Gautam on Saturday in recognition of his contribution to agro and rural tourism through the medium of journalist. The prize was distributed at a function organised to mark the third anniversary of the KD cottage private limited in Simalchaur of Mangala rural municipality-2.
Gautam has been working as a RSS correspondent since 2008. Also on the occasion, former Myagdi correspondent of Annapurna post daily Gopal Chanthyal and Hari Krishna Gautam of Nagarik daily were honoured with a letter of appreciation.
The prize was founded by the cottage last year. The cottage was established three years ago to run tourism and hotel business based in agriculture.
