Kathmandu, Sept 7 ,, The Social Welfare Council has constituted a 45-member Main Programme Committee to celebrate the 39th Social Service Day. The Day falls on September 22.
Minister for Women, Children and Senior Citizens, Thama Maya Thapa, is the chairperson of the committee. She is also the Chair of the Council. A meeting of the Council on Thursday formed the main programme committee.
The Council has also formed an 11-member Work Execution Committee under the coordination of Council Vice-Chairman Nilmani Batal for carrying out the preparatory works for the Social Service Day main function.
Various other five sub-committees have also been formed for running different programmes on the occasion, Council’s Information Officer, Hari Tiwari, said.
