Kawasoti, Dec 28,, Students of the Nepal Dharti Basic School based in Devachuli municipality-5 in Nawalpur (Nawalparasi East) have been provided winter clothes. A total of 70 students were given sweaters and caps on a charity, said Deepak Sharma, general secretary of Jagriti Child and Youth Concerned Nepal. The organisation reached the school with warm garments as students were facing difficulty to attend schools in lack of warm garments.
Various donor agencies extended helping hands in the organisation’s efforts to manage assistance materials for students. The community school is the only one basic school for five villages- Bandipur, Harkhapur, Dhawaha, Patishwara and Maulathumki. Students after the basic education have to walk for two hours to reach the Sakala Secondary School Keurini or Bhimsen Secondary School Rambas, which are the nearest secondary schools from the villages, for further studies. —
