Kathmandu, June 27 (RSS): Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Health Upendra Yadav has expressed the commitment to provide round-the-clock service from health facilities across the country.
Responding to queries raised during deliberation under the appropriation bill related to his ministry at the House of Representatives meeting today, Health Minister Yadav said healthy food, clean water and healthy lifestyle will help save people from disease. It is the duty of the government to provide quality and accessible health services.
Pointing out the need of effective steps on behalf of the government for human resource management and drug administration for ensuring people’s access to basic health, the Minister said the government’s goal to reach hospitals to every ward will be realized.
MPs Prem Suwal, Ram Bahadur Bista, Surita Kumari Giri, Dr Surya Prasad Pathak among others sought additional clarification from Minister Yadav.
